Part of Airtel ATN’s mission is to carry out exploratory work on the future communication technologies that can be used in civil aviation. Along with other industry partners, Airtel ATN conducts exploratory research on the Aeronautical Telecommunications Network (ATN) using Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) which is the next generation communication network that is based on the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) and utilizes heterogenous air/ground datalink technologies.
